  • Version 1 with the 1.5 inch diameter squeegee roller requires lubricating at the edges of the roller between the rubber seals and metal surface of the roller to minimize resistance.

Vasoline or thick automotive grease works best!

Version 1 units were sold before early January 2024.

Version 2 requires no lubricating on the squeegee roller. It uses precision factory sealed bearings used in skateboards which can be purchased on amazon for about a buck a piece. Make sure you choose the stainless steel bearings.Just search amazon using key words skateboard bearings. there’s only one size.

They just tap in or out using the axle they’re attached to if you need to replace them.

If the roller blade wheels on the chassis ever seize up, they too use skateboard bearings which are super easy to pop in and out!

The Bearings on the absorbent roller are slightly different than the skateboard bearings on the squeegee roller. • Yes, but very simple! It will be quite apparent but you should still read this to make sure it’s done right.

Just put on the 4 cover screws, the wheels and handle. The cover screws are the smallest ones in the bag.

The wheels will have all the necessary hardware attached. Remove the locknut and one washer. Then take the rest of the wheel and hardware assembly and insert it into a corner hole. Put washer and nut on other side and tighten just tight enough to where you start feeling some rotating resistance. At this point the wheel should feel firmly attached to the chassis without any wobble.

Repeat this process with the rest of the wheels.

    For the handle:

There are 8 5/8 inch long screws and 4 brackets. Loosely attach the brackets to the predrilled holes at the rear of the chassis.

Insert one gray handle base ( each marked left or right ) into the brackets on each side and tighten the screws with a hand operated phillips screwdriver slightly snug, but allow them to rotate. Make sure the screw already in the handle base is facing rearward and closer to the top. Then insert the metal handle also marked left and right all the way down until it stops on the already installed screws. Now you may need to rotate the base a bit to get the R shaped cotter pins to line up before you insert them. When inserted, firmly tighten all 8 bracket screws with a hand operated screwdriver.

The goal is to make sure the gray handle base tubes don’t rotate when you remove the handle for storage or transport. If they rotate a little, the cotter pins would no longer line up.

    Thats it!
